Mim and More Matcha 25g

Matcha has a bright and strong green color and is used especially in traditional Japanese ceremonies. It is obtained from the leaves of the tea tree grown in the shade.

After the leaves are collected, they are exposed to steam, dried, and put through a process where the stem, veins and other impurities are separated. 'Tencha' is obtained, where only 10% of the first harvest remains. Finally, the tencha is usually ground into a powder very slowly with a hand mill.

Matcha (Maccha) tea is consumed directly as well as used in many drinks and desserts. These include matcha latte, matcha cafe au lait, matcha milk shake, matcha cake, matcha cookies.
